The scientific programme of CMSS-2024 will cover different theoretical, experimental and technological aspects of magnetic confinement fusion:
- Tokamaks and stellarators
- Theory and modeling fusion plasmas
- Plasma heating, current drive and fast-ion physics
- Plasma transport and confinement
- Plasma-wall interaction
- Fusion reactor materials
- Plasma diagnostics and data analysis
- Future fusion reactors: ITER and DEMO
Lectures are given by renowned experts from the TEC Institutes (DIFFER, FZJ, LPP-ERM/KMS, and SCK•CEN) and by academic staff from Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. Moreover, the programme includes two poster sessions for networking opportunities, where the participants can present and discuss the results of their research work with fellow participants and exchange ideas with peers.
